New wildfire spreads near Valencia with heat to intensify

While Spanish authorities struggle to contain a massive wildfire in the Madrid region, another blaze has broken out in the east, near Valencia. About 15,000 people have been evacuated from the coastal town of Vall d'Uixó, where an estimated 6,500 hectares have been scorched. As Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez visits the area, one government official has warned that weather conditions are expected to worsen.
