'I was afraid I would die', says student who heard multiple gunshots

A 17-year-old student from Debsirin Nonthaburi School has recounted hearing multiple loud gunshots while she was in class. "It seemed the suspect was on the floor directly above us. I could even hear bullets hitting the floor," Pawarisa Maylissa tells AFP news agency. "I was afraid that I would die, and I was scared that I wouldn't be able to pursue my dreams," says Pawarisa, who hopes to attend medical school.
