The court is now hearing about ground six of Patterson's appeal - that the prosecution's closing argument in the trial had 35 problems, namely cherry-picking of evidence. In response, the crown prosecutor says that of the 35 issues, many have been counted twice and the overall claim is "devoid of any persuasive merit".
