Canada's opposition leader demands Parliament reconvene

Pierre Poilievre, opposition leader of Canada's Conservative Party, is urging Prime Minister Mark Carney to immediately reconvene Parliament to discuss the fresh trade war with the US. Parliament must convene, he says, to confront three urgent matters: "Canadians deserve answers on how trade talks collapsed, what tariffs will cost their families, and how their jobs will be protected," Poilievre says.
