Escalation of trade war comes at bad time for Republicans

The potential fallout threatens a bunch of those states that could decide control of the US Senate. Maine, Ohio, Michigan and Alaska rely on industries like fisheries, auto parts and lumber that cross the northern border - and all feature competitive Senate rac
