Emergency appeal denied, mistrial to be declared, judge saysreaking

Judge William Sullivan says the defence team's emergency appeal asking the the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court to intervene has been denied. The temporary pause on court proceedings is now lifted, the judge adds, and he intends to bring the jury in and proceed in declaring a mistrial.
