What Trump's plan could mean for the withdrawal of Israeli forces

There is still uncertainty over if the withdrawal of Israeli forces listed in the Board of Peace agreement would include territory behind the so-called Yellow Line. This is the designated demarcation point within Gaza at which Israel agreed to withdraw its forces to following the US-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, signed in October 2025. The deal was meant to leave Israel in temporary control of the area behind the Yellow Line - equating to 53% of Gaza's territory. So far, we have n
