Israel confirms strike on Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has confirmed earlier reports of an Israeli strike on Gaza, in which it was reported that several Palestinians were injured. After being contacted by the BBC, the IDF says it carried out a strike "targeting a terrorist from Hamas’ military wing" in the Gaza City area. "Following the identification of uninvolved individuals in the area, the munition was diverted in order to mitigate harm to them. The incident is under review," the IDF adds.
