Avoid drinking tap water, Kumamoto City government tells residents

The Kumamoto City government is asking people to refrain from drinking tap water in the aftermath of the earthquake. In an update, Kumamoto waterworks says that turbid - or cloudy - water has been seen in some parts of the city. It adds that it is currently inspecting water supply facilities, and advises people not to drink any tap water or use it for cooking until its safety is confirmed.
