Earlier, we reported that Queen Elizabeth was "very keen" for Andrew to take a "prominent role in the promotion of national interests". One of the other documents in today's files is a briefing for Prince Andrew (as he was) before an interview with the Times in 2001. His team suggest Andrew emphasises a "mutual agreement" with "the Palace" about taking on the role. Mountbatten-Windsor was also told to say there was "no hesitation in taking up the role
