Survivors in Trishuli begin to assess the damage and try to salvage belongings

We're seeing some new images this morning from Trishuli, Nepal. Some people can be seen trying to salvage their belongings while others wait among the rubble for paths to be cleared back to their homes. Thick mud covers the buildings and access routes. One man tries to salvage some of his belongings from the destruction left behind in Trishuli by the flood on Thursday morning Another man can be seen here wading through the mud and remaining water in the area Other survivors were pictured sitting
