Nepalese tour operator says nine UK nationals missing while on pilgrimage

A Nepalese tour operator has confirmed that nine UK nationals remain missing since crossing the Nepal-Tibet border while on a pilgrimage to Mount Kailash. The latest from Nepali police is that 33 UK nationals are currently missing. The Trekkers’ Society has told the PA news agency that the nine British citizens who were completing one of its tours comprise of four males, aged between 14 and 54, and five females aged between 40 and 53.
