Two previously detained French nationals Cécile Kohler and Jacques Paris have been allowed to leave Iran. In a post on X, French President Emmanuel Macron thanks authorities for their support in mediation. Kohler and Paris were handed lengthy prison sentences by a court in Iran last year after being convicted of espionage. They were released from detention in November.
