Sri Lanka announces relief package due to soaring energy costs

In Sri Lanka, the largest-ever relief package is being rolled out for farmers, fishermen and low-income households amid soaring energy costs. The island nation is heavily dependent on oil from the Middle East, and fuel prices have increased by a third since the war began on 28 February.
