New pictures show Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez visiting the firefighters' control centre in the village of Cenicientos in Madrid this morning. It comes after Spain's government declared a national emergency as fires continue to rage near the city, with 25,000 people told to evacuate and almost 40,000 told to stay indoors.
