Smoke hung in the air almost 200 miles away from fires in France
分析失败
Daniel SandfordUK correspondent, on holiday in France Returning from a family holiday south of the French city of Biarritz, we headed north into a blanket of smoke with the sun glowing red - when it could be seen at all. We drove through the acrid haze for more than three hours, keeping well inland, choosing the N10 rather than the A10. There was still smoke in the air when we got to Poitiers, close to 200 miles from the heart of the fires.
