London man Alex Yeung says "it felt like a pilgrimage" on the way to Primrose Hill to view the eclipse. "I arrived about 10 mins before the eclipse and it was a lovely gathering of people to witness," he says, adding some who didn't have protective glasses brought colanders from their kitchens to project the shadow onto paper or cardboard.
