'I can’t believe how well it works' - students amazed by pin-hole projector

Erin MarshReporting from the University of York Amidst queues for telescopes and not quite enough eclipse glasses to go around at the eclipse viewing event at the University of York, a gaggle of people surrounds two pieces of paper. Julio do Nascimento and Jack Fawcett stabbed some holes in a piece of paper and have used them to project the eclipse. "It’s pretty cool. It literally took us two seconds," laughs Jack. "This is better than looking through the glasses!"
