Suspect alleged to have used rented vehicle, says prosecutor's office

The public prosecutor's office in Berlin has released a detailed update on Abdul Ballout, who police earlier named as a suspect. The statement says it is alleged that Ballout struck people with a rented vehicle in the Tiergarten area last night. It says one woman died later in the evening, after the suspect allegedly carried out the ramming attack, then injured several with a bladed weapon.
