Federal prosecutor to take over investigation, says justice minister

German Justice Minister Stefanie Hubig says that the federal public prosecutor general will take over the investigation into Saturday night's attack. "Of course, we will pursue those responsible with the full force of the law and bring them to justice," she says, adding that the interior minister "has already stated that this was an Islamist attack". The federal prosecutor general is responsible for prosecutions in serious cases, including terrorism.
