Bridge destroyed in strike was going to be a major highway link

A few hours ago, US President Donald Trump annunced a strike on Iran's B1 bridge, a recently-constructed overpass that connected the city of Karaj to capital Tehran. Video shows fire and smoke rising from the bridge, and then a large chunk missing from the middle. The B1 Bridge, which was yet to open to traffic, has been called one of the tallest in the Middle East. It spans 1,050 meters with 136 meter-high columns, according to a report on the bridge's completion by Iran's state-run media. The
